Editorial Reviews

School Library Journal - School Library Journal
Gr 3-6-These titles present appealing crafts that kids can do with inexpensive, everyday materials. Mosaics uses beads, balls of aluminum foil, beans, seeds, buttons, and small bits of paper attached to various backgrounds to make colorful and useful items, such as picture frames and vases. Papier-M ch illustrates 15 projects made from either paper strips or paper pulp. In both books, instructions for each project conclude with a "Use Your Imagination" suggestion to make the item more individual and creative. Bright, colorful photographs depict various stages of the activities. Sources of supplies, other books, and videos and Web sites are listed. Useful additions to the arts-and-crafts shelf of any collection.-Elizabeth Stumpf, Clearfield Middle School, PA Copyright 2001 Cahners Business Information.
