Each of the content chapters presents the national standards for mathematics, science, social studies and language arts and describes how these standards can be integrated into visual and performing arts lessons. This book is a very useful tool for incorporating arts into the regular curriculum. The book is easy to read and gives excellent examples and ideas for teachers to get their students interested in the arts and able to express their understanding of the curriculum in new ways.
