Overview

Linda Dillow gracefully and succinctly motivates Christian women to reach for more than they are currently experiencing in their marriages. She includes creative suggestions on how to encourage your husband, live above your circumstances, and develop a plan whereby you can begin to become the woman, wife, and mother that you long to be. She describes a creative counterpart as being more than just a helper. She is a woman who, having chosen (or having found herself in) the vocation of wife and mother, decides to learn and grow in all the areas of this role and to work as though she were aiming for the presidency of a corporation. Also included is a Bible study and project guide, which work perfectly for personal study or small group interaction.

Dillow examines the challenge of being a Christian wife and mother at a time when society's definitions of those roles seem confusing. Discussion of Biblically-based priorities helps put in perspective the many demands women face. Includes a Bible study guide and planned daily Bible readings. Dillow's counsel has given new life to thousands of marriages.

    HIGHEST VOCATION: WIFE & MOTHER

I read 'Creative Counterpart' in 1977. It literally changed my life and the way I learned to organize my home and keep my priorities straight. I used the 'Priority Planner' for years and am so sad that I can't find it anymore. I am teaching younger women the joy of being a homemaker and it would be a valuable tool. This young gereration of women don't have a clue about running a home and planning ahead. God is a God of order. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is peace. And this is an outstanding tool the accomplish that means. My husband told me during our devotions this week that I 'AM' the Proverbs 31 woman. You can imagine how my heart melted. What a joy and compliment. Thank you Linda for your insights.
