This is a great book! It has many art therapy techniques and her nondominant hand idea is terrific- but hard. I love using art therapy to express my feelings and this book helps me add structure to it. Some of the activities are rather generic- like the 'what if you were a teacher' one, which reminded me of third grade, but other ones like her 'off the top of my head' and 'talking back' are very well though out and very therapeutic. I carry this book and sketch journal, along with a set of colored pencils and pastels with me EVERWHERE I go. If you are in therapy or struggling or just want to be more 'real' I HIGHLY recomend buying this book!
