Meet the Author

Dr. Anna Faktorovich is the Founder, Director, Designer and Editor-in-Chief of the Anaphora Literary Press and the Pennsylvania Literary Journal. She is an English Lecturer in composition and British literature at the Middle Georgia College in Cochran, GA. Last year she taught composition full-time at the Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Her first poetry collection, Improvisational Arguments, is coming out this summer, 2011 with Fomite Press (VT). Her first scholarly book, The Development of the Rebellion Novel Genre in 19th Century British Literature, is under revision for publication with McFarland. She has presented her research at the MLA, SAMLA, EAPSU, SWWC, BWWC and many other international conferences. She published critical essays, newspaper articles, fiction as well as her art work in literary magazines and academic publications. She won the MLA Bibliography and the Brown University Military Collection fellowships, as well as numerous travel and research grants. She has a Ph.D. in English Literature and Criticism and an M.A. in Comparative Literature.
