    Excellent study of the third child and the fallout from an abusi

    Excellent study of the third child and the fallout from an abusive father, from the perspective of the middle child. The middle child creates a fantasy world in which to shield his younger sister, a world that turns all fellow family members into creatures from another planet. It is his attempt to distance her from the cruelty and pain inflicted by their father. Highly recommended, if you appreciate literature.
