Meet the Author

G.R.V. Stone is an elusive and secluded author that puts a limitless value on his privacy. Having his face horribly disfigured in an aerobics incident involving Richard Simmons, a bottle of Jack and a half smoked pack of Winstons, the author chooses instead to use any number of scarecrow photos as his public face.

The only reason I kept reading these stories was to see if the next one would be any better than the current one. The stories reminded me of something written by a high school kid and each left much to be desired. I did kind of like the concept of The Amazing Head Handle though. There were also lots of typos in the text and I found that disturbing.

The book to me was not as horrible as some of the reviews made it seem. The storiies were ok short stories, nothing really scary, more like a couple twisted episodes of Twilight Zone or something similar.
