I thoroughly enjoyed the story of Jordan the Ghost and his excursions through the Land of Xanth with Threnody. As always, Piers Anthony delivers hilarity with all of his puns.

A Crewl Lye is about a ghost who tells his past history to a young princes is order to help her pass the time. I felt that the book did not have any relevance to the prior eight books. When I read Pierce Anthony, I always look forward to character twists between the different novels. However this book does not relate to any other novels, therefore it was disappointed

All you people don't know what your missing if you want to read a good book I strongly suggest Crewel Lye. The book is jammed packed with exicitement as well as puns. Watch out for some treachory.

Once again we have another book well written and filled with puns. One difference is brought to light almost immediatley, this book is written in first person, from the perspective of Jordan the Ghost. Jordan unfolds his history as Jordan the Barbarian with some help from young Princess Ivy and a magic tapestry. This is one of the great fantasy books.

awesome.jordan is cool.super fast healing what a fitting talent for a barbarian warrior.and the part when they fought the bodyless knight was cool.yin and yang were cool too,in an evil sort of way.its hard to believe at times that most of the book is a story being told to a 6 year old sorceress.

This book is sooo cool. Jordan a barbarian rides a 'pooka'. I mean who would have thought of a type of horse like that? This author has so much imagination!! That's what good authors should have.

Jordan is a stupid but loyal barbarian and is proud of it. He is betrayed by the person he loves.

Overview
Jordan was a ghost in Castle Roogna now. Although once he had been the most valorus of knights--that is, until he was betrayed by two wily magicians and the woman he loves. Now, if he only can remember how he was killed, he'll be able to reassemble his body. And he is getting impatient....
