I wrote a review on Oct 3 and it all stands true except for the part about definitely reading this author again. I bought two more of her books and was very disappointed. They were definitely not the same quality of writng this book was. I definitely do not recommend Ghost House or Ghost House Revenge...totally phony and a waste of time.

I was very enthusiastic to find an exciting seeming scince-fiction read. But as i read on, there seemed to be some ominous backline. Something that i,as a cristian, found very disturbing. It was not exactly from the story, but my concience. However, i didnt want to stop so i kept reading until i reached the part where one of the main characters lost her skin (what??). That was the breaking point. I am returning this book and do not reccomend it for christians. This could just be a personal conviction, but i still do NOT reccomend.

What a suspenseful book! I loved Lorraine, Steven and Julie. The poor orphans finally are adopted, then are drawn away from their new families. This author knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat. I couldn't put it down. Highly recommend it.

"Cries of the Children" and "Hear the Children Calling" are two different books. "Hear the Children Calling" is out of print but I hope it will soon be an e-book!

I brought this expecting it to be scary and action packed. It was neither of the two. The book got boring to me really quick. But i continued to read it with the hope that it would get interesting. It became interesting in the end but by that time everything was pretty predictable. I didnt understand continous need to mention steven's skin color because that nothing to do with the whole story and after a while it became a little offensive.

I enjoyed the story. There were alot of spelling errors and something was wrong with the turning of pages around page 204-207. Will there be more books.

What a horrible book! Poorly written, big waste of time to read. Do not waste your money on this book! I would give it zero stars if that was an option.

Violetkit paddded along quietly. Her paws ached and her vision blurred but she presed on following the patrol. She watched as sparkledust split up from the others and Harestkit trailed her. Then sparkledust began to crouch stalking an unsuspecting crow. She silently slitherd only feet away............then CRACK the crow flew up sqawking out of sight. Sparkledust looked up alarmed as Harvestkit callled from behind " Oops" as he stood on a snapped twig. Sparkledust groaned . Violetkit watches as this process repeated each time sparkledust got a little more frusterated. Finally she shrieked " You stupid kit!" And she forcefully hit Harvestkit on the head . Harvestkit squeaked and collasped onto the ground. Sparkledust nudged him but the lo look of sheer terror on her face told Violetkit " You murderer !" She cried coming into full view. Sparkledust whirled around " what? " Violetkit callled " Im telling father!" And began to run. But sparkledusylt was swift and caught violetkit by the scruff. " Tell and you die right alongside me" she growled. " So not scared" violetkit sighed. Sparkledust showed a sharp gleamung claw. She held it up so violetkit could view it " Suddenly im scary?" Violetkit shivered as she was flung onto the dirt. " Get back to camp scum" growled sparkledust. Violetkit obeyed her lips sealed. Later sparkledust returned blubbering about a badger . Harvedtkits bloody body was taken away from the camp mournfully led by a subdubed blackenedclaw and sparkledust. " she must have bloofied my poor brother herself" relized violetkit horrified as the blood gleamed on sparkledusts claws
