Overview

Maxwell Odom is one of the nation's top crime-scene investigators. While staying at a hotel in Jerusalem, he steps out to meet his driver and discovers he has been miraculously transported to ancient Jerusalem in the days following Jesus' crucifixion.

According to his guide, the only way for Odom to return to his own time is by solving a historical crime—a conspiracy of the many to kill the One. Attempting to run a modern forensics investigation in the first century, he is forced to look at his own beliefs, attitudes, and life in a whole new light.

Crime Scene Jerusalem is about a man named Maxwell or Max Odom. He is going through the hardest times in his life and not dealing well with his depression. When he is in Jerusalem, he learns the greatest lesson of all and it helps him in every aspect of his life. Anyone reading this review should know that this is a very good book and I highly recommend it. Alton Gansky gets the point across that believing in Christ will help you in your life. This is defiantly one of the best books I've ever read. I'm reviewing this book so that others may read and enjoy it as much as I did. The book was published in January 2007. It is set in modern time. Alton Gansky, the author, knows how to make a book come alive because he has worked in accounting, advertising, and architecture. I am judging this book by books I've read in the past and this is surely in my top ten favorites. Max is a criminologist who has a lot of problems. His boss is angry with him and he is not in very good terms with his wife. He goes to Jerusalem on a business trip and his guide takes him to one of the most interesting crimes he has ever had to investigate. This book is one that you don't want to put down once you start reading it. The characters are all different from Max, who is angered easily, quick to take action, and lost, to Yoshua, who is kind, mysterious, and a good friend. The story is action packed. There's fighting, cruel punishments, mystery, and much more. Alton Gansky achieves his purpose in this story. It lets people know how much one thing can change your life. I enjoy reading mysteries and this is the best I've read in a long time. To wrap this all up, I think that this is an excellent book. This is a great mystery that I think you will want to read. I think that the characters, story, setting, and genre are all very good. This is a good story and I hope you read it. If not, then you don't know what you're missing.

I was givin this book from my Grandmother. I really didn't want to read it because I thought "Oh No another one of those books" but I was wrong! I couldn't put it down at all! It really gets you in the beginning. I really don't know what to say but to read it yourself. I loved how it was written from the now. Very good read!!!!!
