Overview

David Youngblood, now a believer, marries the only woman who has ever truly loved him and tries to clear a friend of murder.

David Youngblood has returned from the penal colony on Devil's Island a changed man. He owes his very life to the beautiful Camille, whose love for him—enduring despite the terrible wrongs he has done her—has secured his freedom and his return to London society.

Embarking on a new life together as husband and wife, David and Camille revel in their love for each other and in the goodness of a God who can redeem even their tarnished pasts. But a death-bed promise on Devil's Island compels David to clear a good man's name—and now that promise entangles the two of them with one of British nobility's most insidious schemes.

In Crimson Skies, the trials and triumphs of the Youngblood family become the proving grounds for faith, grace, forgiveness, and the love of God.

Crimson Skies is the last book in the Shades of Eternity series by Lisa Samson. Filled with the splendor and romance of historical Europe, these well-crafted novels trace one family's journey of faith in the lives and loves of its members in the nineteenth century.

Author Biography: Lisa Samson is the author of several romance novels, including the best-selling The Highlander and His Lady and the recent Indigo Waters. She lives in Bel Air, MD, with her husband and children.
