Zimmer's frantic, testosterone-fueled melodies embrace function at the expense of form -- there's nothing remotely noteworthy except their sheer relentlessness and visceral intensity. One word ''Awesome''

I am what you call a ''rookie'' to this kind of music, but recently I took an interest in ''Score'' cd's. And bought ''The Gladiator'' and first heard Hans Zimmer, so now I am buying everything Hans Zimmer! Great Score. Great work.

    Great Soundtrack

Hans Zimmer is a great composer, and his skill stands out in this great CD. The soundtrack is intense, and it's not something that one would want to truly relax to. One will see after hearing the CD once, why he won a Grammy for best soundtrack. Get this CD.
