Editorial Reviews

Library Journal
Knitting socks may be all the rage right now, but there are many crocheters out there who would like to make socks for friends and family using a hook instead of knitting needles. For those folks, this book is just the ticket. Rehfeldt and Wood have put together a varied collection of 16 patterns for both women and men. Designs range from classic, Oxford-style socks to thong socks for split-toe sandals and wild "wiggly toes" socks, with each toe of the sock crocheted in a different color. This book is for intermediate crocheters who already have the single crochet and other basics nailed down. Ample instructional materials make this a book that sock crocheters will refer to again and again. Warmly recommended for all public libraries. Copyright 2003 Reed Business Information.

Good book for the beginner crocheter.

I am new to this whole crochet (and now knitting) experience. Obviously, I am a "newbie" yet I was able to crochet successfully several pairs of socks using this book. I hope it is as helpful for you as it was for me. =)
