    more from this reviewer

This book is a great gift!

So, my friend discovered the art of wire jewelry making, and had requested a beginner's book as her Christams present. After careful consideration, I felt that this book was the most imaginative and entertaining for a beginner's book. Apparently I was correct, as I called her and asked her to rate the book. ENJOY!

Is this stuff wearable, or for an art gallery?

I am an experienced crocheter with both wire and yarn and I own a quite lucrative crochet jewelry business. I purchased this book looking for some unique ideas and techniques. Well I guess I got what I wanted! So unique that I don't know anyone who would wear most of those. Perhaps the stuff would go well with the ridiculous apparel the runway models wear. You know, the apparel and accessories the runway models wear for 5 minutes then immediately strip off. The consultant for my business is in the high end fashion industry in NYC. Perhaps I could peddle some designer birdsnests for their models to wear. Probably not. I'll give credit where its due though, there are maybe 2 projects that are wearable, elegant, and unique. I'll just stick with my designs until I get a request for a corn necklace. Maybe someone is really into corn....or birdnests.
