This one is just a pocketbook.

We have this cookbook in a standard size and I thought that's what I was ordering. It turned out to be the size of a paperback novel. For that reason, I returned it. I was purchasing this for my granddaughter who is just getting into crockery cooking and this book (in the standard size) is wonderful. The recipes that we have tried have all been great. I will keep looking for this one in the standard size for so I can send it to her.

I never knew you could make dessert in the crock pot!

This is a great recipe book because it includes more thatn just dinners. It has fantastic soups and dessert recipes. It includes appetizers, beverages and special instructions for using spices in a crock pot. It is easy to read and the recipes are simple, and easy to follow. I like cooking with the crock pot most because I am a stay at home mom and preparing dinner ahead of time aleviates the hectic 'dinner time' stress.
