    I Also Recommend:

    Intriguing

Everytime I think I've read it all, along comes a new series that I just can't seem to get enough of. I've got the whole set so far. Each of the Immortal novels are creative and innovative, gauranteed to keep you at the edge of your seat. There is nothing more satisfying than a great paranormal story with an abundance of action. The Immortal series delivers on all levels!

    I Also Recommend:

Great story that will take you to another place!

I absolutely love this book! The series is so fluent in the writing it makes you think the same author is writing these books. Joy Nash authors this book about Mac, another of the demigod brothers, that is hot after a witch (in more ways then one!) We are brought in to the world of witches, fairies and demons in this book. Artemis is doing taking life magic away from the fairies, which she has a good reason too, but is not willing to risk telling anyone. This gets her in to trouble and Mac must find her. Mac and Artemis connect, but they push other away. Each has their job to do and they won't let the other stop them. The conflict between dark and life magic has to find a balance for them both to survive the demon world..and each other.

Again, you don't have to have read the other books to enjoy this story. Just be aware it does get a bit hot and steamy in places, but the story itself is worth reading!

    exciting romantic fantasy

The half breed Sidhe demigod Manannan Mac Lir thought his heroics saving the Immortal warrior Tain would lead to a glorious final victory for good vs. evil (see Jennifer Ashley¿s IMMORTALS: THE REDEEMING). He proved only partially correct as Tain and that half she-demon cop Samantha found each other however Mac has learned the wisdom of the old adage of the road to hell is paved with good intentions. His soul is now a carrier of death magic. Faeries ask Mac to help them when a death magic spell is gradually killing a child. He agrees and his inquiry leads to witch Artemis Black, who has problems of her own. A demon is blackmailing her to cooperate in order to save her son's soul held hostage in hell. Instead she cut a Faustian deal with another demon to steal life magic in exchange for saving her son. Mac escorts Artemis to stand before the Sidhe council, but she instead flees to hell he follows. --- The latest second Immortals miniseries is an exciting entry as a caring hero battles with his feelings and a mother who goes into hell for her heavenly cause. The story line is fast-paced from the moment the Fairies request Mac investigate and never slows down as he follows his heart while fearing for her soul. Although the love subplot takes a needed backseat to the escapades and therefore feels abrupt and rushed, romantic fantasy fans will enjoy the latest Immortal saga. --- Harriet Klausner
