Crossing was the most deep love story I think I¿ve ever read. It

Crossing was the most deep love story I think I’ve ever read. It is a story about Dani, an aspiring college theatre major meeting her acting partner, Liam in a theatre class. Dani is not the girl we read about in romance novels. She is corky, fun, and just real. She is not perfect. I loved that the most about her. As a reader I found her to be relatable. She had a fun sense of humor and the banter between her and Liam was great.

Liam is hot, charming, and a guy that every girl finds attractive. Dani doesn’t see herself with someone like him since she’s just an average girl. However there is a connection between Dani and Liam that cannot be ignored. Dani ends up falling Liam, hard.

Crossing is a story about true love and acceptance. It is about self-discovery and being able to overcome the deepest fear- to not be loved unconditionally and whole heartedly. The love Dani has for Liam is put to the test in the ultimate way possible, as she learns his secret. This is not your average fluffy new adult romance novel. It will shatter what you think real love is. And I mean this in the most beautiful way possible. It's different, and not for everyone.

I completely fell in love with this story and it’s characters. It will forever have a place in my heart as a story I will not forget. I recommend this story to anyone who is looking for a different new adult novel. If you want something that is real and that deals with something that society seems to sweep under the rug, then this is for you. I mean it when I say that this has to be one of the most beautiful love story I have ever read. True love always endures. Thank you to the author for sharing her story

    Just weird

I didnt expect this. And honestly, this whole idea was kind of cool. But the secret about liam was rlly unexpecting and it just gets damn weird after that. I dont recommend this if youre looking for a sweet, romantic, cute book. The sex they have are not hot either. So if youre horny, this book is not for you. I dont know how this book even has 4 stars as a rating. No offense but im kind of disgusted...

I thought this book was disturbing. No man should wear womens clothes. That's just nasty and weird and yes I am judging but I don't care. That's wrong! God put men om the earth to be men and women on the earth to be women. Simple as that.

    Thank you, Stacy

Loved Dani & Liam. A not perfect girl meets a not perfect boy. These are real people, well written and enjoyable. Kind, fun and witty. I believe a good author can make a person feel, real feelings, caring for the characters. I felt these people; Stacy made me "see" them within her. Thank you, Stacy.

I agree with those who didn't like the plot. I too thought it was all strange and disturbing. I had skimmed the reviews and had seen how some had wanted to cry, said it was a deep love story, etc. I didn't cry, I didn't think it was a deep love story and it's not even normal to stay with someone like that.

    Very different

I think this is a nice twist on the everyday romantic novel. Most romance novels in which the male love interest has a dark secret usually involves him being a vampire werewolf or having just been released from prison or in some very special cases is a male prostitute. This take on the friendship turned romanceship is deep and probably contraversial but causes the reader to delve and question things that probably go on evry where across the usa. Liams character is nice and vonerable and his secret is somewhat unexpected but adds to his character. The main character and narrator is fabulous and though has a low self esteem has a snappy yet aprochable attitude. I wouldnt mind meeting them as real people that is how much i ejoyed this story their story. Brava to the author for getting me to rethink the norms and accept the societal declared unacceptable.

    Quite and education

    Know anything about CD?
You will if you read this with an open mind.
Stacey Bennefiel covers the subject quite nicely from several different angles ... from a first person's viewpoint, and certainly should open the eyes of a lot of people who need to be educated on this subject.'
While at times the writing gets a little wordy, it becomes obvious why the author uses this method, especially in setting the stage in the first 60 pages, as to the other quirky things "supposedly normal people" do without thinking it's quirky.
Excellent read ... very educational ... it's a good one.

    Read me AWESOME

This book was absolutely incredible. I literally didnt want to stop reading. I loved the fact that it was anything but your typical love story. I certainly didnt expect this when i purchased it but im so happy i did. This book made me laugh and cry and sometimes both at the same time. I just fell in love with the characters from the beginning. I HIGHLY recommend this beautiful work of art.

    I have no words......

I'm not sure what I can say except in my short 22 years of life I've probably read hundreds of books, it is my passion and I'm obsessive over it. To prove my point I counted the books I have in my archive on my nook and its over 170, and thats not counting the books I own and the ones I've read on my kindle app. My point is that out of many books this is the second book I've ever reviewed, because this book it is so heart wrenchingly amazing and, I think, everyone should know that fact. I just wanted to read a silly love story and I got so much more and if I ever get a chance to meet the author I'd like to thank her for bringing this book to life and putting in this world. Okay so I guess I have some words. XD

I have mixed feelings about this book. The message was great, but some of it could've been written in a more mature manner. I think some of it is stereotypical. Once it got past the halfway mark, it got better, but some of sexual references were highly immature, especially considering the characters were college-agef. It seems more like what a young teenager would think if anything...

I hate having to give this author 2 stars :(

Here's the thing, I give the author props because she's indie and she has passion about what she does, doing this because she truly wanted it. The storyline itself is very endearing, especially due to the fact that it was loosely based on her own true story, and to be honest, it was written well enough to keep me reading. However, the story moved waaaaay too fast, so fast that it didn't give me the chance to really bond, love, and get to know the characters, which is a big thing for me. The ending was 100% rushed, not even a climax or anything to be on your toes about. This story couldve been soo much better if she took the time to develope the characters more, expand the story, and gave it a proper ending. Hopefully, if she continues to write, she will realize these things and end up with a book worthy of more stars. Good luck! Ps. But yes, its always sunny in philadelphia is seriously histerical. Cave in and watch it lol!
