The Authority crossover is okay. It has a lot of action and H.P. Lovecraft (or rather an exaggerated characture of Lovecraft). Ellis story seems to buried under his stylistic tics, though. The JLA crossover is rather lame. Nothing really spectacular happens and the art is sketchy. The Batman crossover is amazing. It is hilarious with a great deal of the one liners Ellis is famous for. It is also a deft exploration of Batman and the changes he has gone through this century and why he remains popular after over sixty years.
