Operation: Crossover 2- Chapter 4

As Leo and the three new recruits walked in, Kat just went and slumped in a chair, and Ben made fun of everyone. Vanellope, meanwhile, was falling in love.
She walked up to her brand new target of affections. "Hey there." He said all sweet and innocent. "I'm Vanellope. Nice to meet you." She winked, thrying her best to work her little girl charms.
Yu just smiled back. "Hi. I'm Yu. Nice to meet you too." And he just walked away, leaving Vanellope forlorn.
Meanwhile, Ben had found a kindred spirit. "Really? You have TWO older sisters??" Ben was telling Johnny. "That must really stink." Johnny just nodded. "You know it." They both laughed.
While her fellow trainees met the people, Kat just slumped in a chair. Who should care about her anyway, she told herself. She was nobody.
After a slightly uncomfortable dinner, the team went to bed. To make room for the new people, the two extra beds were pulled into the girl's room. But since there were no more beds, Leo was forced to move to the Executive Quarters with Luffy and Zolo.
Every senior agent had the choice of staying with his team, or in his or hers executive quarters. Despite being beyond glorious, Leo had always opted to stay where he had always been, but now, it seemed things were to change.
Leo flopped onto his king bed in his private quarters, exhausted. Training these new team members was going to be tough. After a while though, Leo fell asleep.
***
Kat looked out the window of the bathroom. She was lonely. No one ever wanted to be friends with her, and she had never had anyone to talk to. She sighed.
***
In the girls' room, all was asnore and asleep. No-one was even having a bad sleep. So no-one noticed the odd shadow that seemed to flicker over each bed. It stopped over each one, and drew ever so slightly closer. But every time, it pulled away, moving on, untill it got to Twilight's bed.
It drew closer, not daring to breathe, watching her peaceful face. The shadow seemed pleased. It took a raggedy, red-stained gag from an unseen place, and quick as a flash, tied it over Twilight' s mouth. This motion woke Twilight up, and when she tried to scream, the gag shut her mouth.
Over her bed stood a small child, maked in a white mask. He had deformed arms and a frightening gater. But most frightening of all was the glimmering knife suspended over her heart. The boy whispered softly.
"Go to sleep."
"WHAT THE FU<_>CK??????"
Kat flipped the lights on. She had shouted as soon as she saw the strange boy's shadowy outline at her new teammate's bed. Her scream immediatley galvanized the entire room.
The boy knew he had been discovered, and attempted to flee out of the window. But he was not expecting Rainbow to fly so fast. "GET BACK HERE, YOU CREEPY KID!!" She shouted, ramming him with all her might. The boy flew against a brick wall, and lost concious.
Rainbow Dash flew the would-be killer back into the room. Pinkey and Applejack were both comforting Fluttershy, while Rarity and the Test girls consoled Twilight, who was in hysterics. She panted, freaked out. "Someone...just tried to assassinate me!!!"

((Suspense and horror, anyone? Hope you liked it!!))

    .

Actually, I have to completely disagree with the other review. I thought this sketch was well done - I think perhaps the other reviewer was looking for more of a hard scifi feel, which I definitely appreciate, but this story seemed more emotionally driven and I really appreciated that hook.

    Ugghh.

Not well developed. Very confusing and difficult to follow. If time was taken to flesh the story out, it has the potential to be good. But as it is, take a pass.
