    Great start

I just wanted to address the earlier comment about the sex in this book, the beastiality comment specifically. There is sex, but it isnt graphic. Its pretty tame, romantic, and no vulgar language is used in the scenes. Compared to alot of romances out there its very tame. This is not a smut book at all. As for beastiality my only thought is that the commenter must be remarking on the male lead who is a shifter. Yet he is not shifted in any romantic interlude. Just wanted to put that out there in case anyone was scared off from reading this due to that comment.

    Poorly written and edited

With all the shape shifting, I almost thought I was reading the Twilight series - except thankfully there are no vampires.

The author writes like a teenager, right down to the poor grammar. She mixes present and past tense verbs within the same sentence. She uses 'you and me' when it should be 'you and I', and 'you and I' when it should be 'you and me'. The characters blush far too often for little reason, and there's there's far too much sex and attempted rape for younger teens.

I find it hard to believe an actual editor even looked at it: poor word choices unclear references, multiple uses of the word to instead of too, and plenty of other grammatical mistakes. Furthermore, occasional words are missing, and I doubt anyone ran it through a spell check program.

It's a poorly thought out book and a waste of time, money, and even the energy needed to power my Nook.

    LOVE

When i first got this book i thought it looked lame. But i got it anyways, and am extremely happy that i did. I seriously COULD NOT put it down. I stayed up all night reading it and when i finished it i decided that i HAD to read the second book. Much to my dismay, the second book cost money, and im cheap... But this is quite possibly the very best book i have read in my 13 years of life... and i may or not be in love with Jasper ^_^

I really enjoyed reading this book. It wasn't necessarily well written, but if you get over that and try to appreciate the story for what it is, you'll have no problem enjoying it as much as I did.

    Too much love

Way to much time spent telling how much the 2 people love each other. Not a bad premise, but you start to skip whole sections.

ADULTS ONLY NOT APPROPRIATE FOR TEENS!!!

This series has very interesting characters, plot has enough action to keep one interested, creates an intriguing fantasy world, but for some reason the author is overly sexually preoccupied. She repeatedly, graphically describes sexual encounters, with characters vulgarly begging for more and describing the act, over and over again throughout this series. She has the main characters in a constant state of sexual frenzy and actually puts them "in heat" like animals and has them act like animals. So, if you have any desire to protect your teens from inappropriate sexual content, do not let them read this series.

    good but needs editing

Like the story line an characters but not the fact that the writing seems perfect for a fifth grader...tho i do like that the sex is not graphic. Too much focus on romance for my taste so that coupled with grade school language means a skip on rest of trilogy. If you like fluff tho.....you will probably enjoy this.

Well written books that I enjoyed, with homage to JRR Tolkien and CS Lewis. Ms. Chester is a talented writer. HOWEVER, these books are for ADULTS only due to numerous very graphic sex/love scenes in all three books. Due to the nature of the characters, the argument could be made that these are categorized as 'beastiality'. B&N should have a method for rating books so that parents can be forewarned. There is not a need for them to police anything, just have a warning system for concerned readers and parents...

    Epic Read!

Warning: This book is Tigeristic! My Rating: 10 of 10 My Cover Thoughts: This cover is what captured my interest. It is of a tree in full bloom. If you know anything about trees you know that trees have a cycle where they bloom and shed to start all over again. This is what happens in the story Crossover. My Thoughts/Review: Man oh man I fell in love with the cover of this book and I had to read it. Then I meet Mireille on Facebook and knew I had to read her series. I have met lots of authors on Facebook that have written awesome series and I just knew once I picked up this book I would not be able to put it down. Well I read the series in three days because I could not put it down. I did not cook or clean and my husband had to take care of the house. With that being said let¿s take a journey into the world of Quelondain. Hayden is an ordinary college student studying veterinary medicine. She loves her horse Dodge and she spends all her time riding or showing her horse. That is until she takes a ride through a trail she has a million times and she sees the most handsome guy she have ever seen. She thinks she is dreaming and decides she will come back on the trail the next day to see if she can see the guy again. She goes to the trail the next day and she sees him there waiting for her. She stops to talk to him and he asks her to follow him over to the blue waters. She is intrigued by this beautiful guy so she agrees and follows him. Once she is there she does not want to leave him because she is having so much fun and he has awakened something in her and she is not sure what it is. She can¿t stop thinking about him and how much she wants to touch him and kiss him. Hayden soon finds out what is calling her to this man and she will have to choose between her regular life or start a new life. She knows Jasper is no regular guy she wants to know what it is that pulls her to him. She will travel into a world few know about and she will learn who she really is. She will have to trust people and she will have to fight hard to be in a world where thinks are not as they seem. Take a ride on this fantastical roller coaster with Hayden and Jasper and learn what it means to be a supernatural being. She will have to fight evil and shed love on this place. She will see what true love is and sacrifice. The only thing is she will need to stay out of the cross fires that have begun since her entrance into this new world. Memorable Quotes: ¿Then there¿s no reason why I can¿t do this,¿ I muttered as I stretched up and touched my lips to his. Jasper¿s eyes widened in surprise. I laced my fingers behind his head, scared he was going to pull away. I didn¿t need to worry. He groaned and pulled me tighter against him, wrapping his arms around me. Advice: This is a must read series for all ages!

    Operation: Crossover- Chapter 18

TEN YEARS EARLIER...<p><br><p>"Robyn!! Hey, don't eat all of it!"<p>Robyn laughed as her older brother tried to grab some of the cotton candy she was holding. "Heehee!" She laughed. "No way!! It's all mine!! Get some more fo yourself, Dove!!"<p>Robyn and her older brother, Dove, walked through the bright, bustling downtown of Mecha City. It was a peaceful place, always full of smiling faces. And robots too, of course. A company named Robotnik Inc. made all the robots in the city, and the robots always loved to serve others. It was the life.<p>Well, for most people anyway. Robyn's parents had died when she was very little, leaving Dove, a small fortune, and various foster homes to provide for her. The first foster parents they had were awful; the brother and sister were treated like servants. And Dove had noticed that their foster parnts kept stealing their birth parent's money and using it for themselves.<p>After a while, Dove had had enough. They had no savings left and were being treated terribly. So he had taken Robyn and ran away to live on the streets. This actually proved to be much better. Dove could make a few extra bucks for odd jobs and pickpocketing tourists, which was just enough for them to eat a halfway decent breakfast lunch and dinner. And Dove was always very strong, and protected Robyn efficently.<p>Robyn and Dove were always very close to one another. To Robyn, Dove was like a father, always splurging for her, always loving her, keeping her safe...the list went on and on.<p>Today, they walked through a part of town Robyn had never seen before. "We're near the Robot Factory, where all the robots in the city are made." Dove said. "Know-it-all!!" Robyn laughed, punching his shoulder. "Hey, watch it!!" Dove laughed. "Anyway, no one knows how the robots are made. No tours, no gift shops. Nothing."<p>Robyn's eyes lit up. "Ooooh!! It's like a mystery!!" She said excited. "We can be Private Eyes and sneak in there!!" She pretended to put on a heavy coat and ran towards the direction of the Robot Factory. "W-wait, Robyn!! We can't just go in there!!"<p><br><p>
