I just wanted to address the earlier comment about the sex in this book, the beastiality comment specifically. There is sex, but it isnt graphic. Its pretty tame, romantic, and no vulgar language is used in the scenes. Compared to alot of romances out there its very tame. This is not a smut book at all. As for beastiality my only thought is that the commenter must be remarking on the male lead who is a shifter. Yet he is not shifted in any romantic interlude. Just wanted to put that out there in case anyone was scared off from reading this due to that comment.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It wasn't necessarily well written, but if you get over that and try to appreciate the story for what it is, you'll have no problem enjoying it as much as I did.

When i first got this book i thought it looked lame. But i got it anyways, and am extremely happy that i did. I seriously COULD NOT put it down. I stayed up all night reading it and when i finished it i decided that i HAD to read the second book. Much to my dismay, the second book cost money, and im cheap... But this is quite possibly the very best book i have read in my 13 years of life... and i may or not be in love with Jasper ^_^

Way to much time spent telling how much the 2 people love each other. Not a bad premise, but you start to skip whole sections.

This series has very interesting characters, plot has enough action to keep one interested, creates an intriguing fantasy world, but for some reason the author is overly sexually preoccupied. She repeatedly, graphically describes sexual encounters, with characters vulgarly begging for more and describing the act, over and over again throughout this series. She has the main characters in a constant state of sexual frenzy and actually puts them "in heat" like animals and has them act like animals. So, if you have any desire to protect your teens from inappropriate sexual content, do not let them read this series.

Like the story line an characters but not the fact that the writing seems perfect for a fifth grader...tho i do like that the sex is not graphic. Too much focus on romance for my taste so that coupled with grade school language means a skip on rest of trilogy. If you like fluff tho.....you will probably enjoy this.

Wonderful Book

With all the shape shifting, I almost thought I was reading the Twilight series - except thankfully there are no vampires. The author writes like a teenager, right down to the poor grammar. She mixes present and past tense verbs within the same sentence. She uses 'you and me' when it should be 'you and I', and 'you and I' when it should be 'you and me'. The characters blush far too often for little reason, and there's there's far too much sex and attempted rape for younger teens. I find it hard to believe an actual editor even looked at it: poor word choices unclear references, multiple uses of the word to instead of too, and plenty of other grammatical mistakes. Furthermore, occasional words are missing, and I doubt anyone ran it through a spell check program. It's a poorly thought out book and a waste of time, money, and even the energy needed to power my Nook.

When Hayden wonders into a different world, Jasper is sent to bring her to the Queen. Two strong forces are after Hayden and want to use her to defeat the other. But somewhere along the way, the rules get broken and things that have once been set in stone, since the beginning of time, get a bit blurred. Is Hayden the reason for all this change? Can two people from totally different worlds find love among the confusion? Will Hayden be able to return home? Will she want too? So much happens that you will want to stick around and seek out its answers. I was so happy to read this book and to go back to the wonderful world that Chester created. I was first introduced to some of the characters in Chester's TYLER'S STORY. But CROSSOVER takes place long before that one and it is the start of something awesome. I love, love, love the romance in this one. It was absolute goodness. From the moment that Hayden meets Jasper she feels something drawing her towards him. And she is having quite the hard time resisting him. Hayden learns that the people in this world are fated to each other through dreams. Jasper has been dreaming of her for a while now but Hayden has never dreamt of him. So what harm could come from a little flirting? You'd actually be surprised. *** "More than anything in this world or the one you just came from," he whispered. "That's how much I love you." *** I am so looking forward to what is in store for these fabulous characters and the future that is ahead of them. I am sure there is bound to be problems but the romance that Chester dishes out is sure to make up for it. Definitely a great read I recommend to any and all who are a fan of NA paranormal reads.

I stopped reading at chapter 5. I dislike books that have the main characters fall in love, pledge their souls to eachother, and have sex in a matter a day or two. Plus, some of grammatical errors were amongst my pet peaves. But hey, it's free, so it was worth a try.
