Crossroad, Volume 1by Shioko Mizuki, Mizuki Shioko
Kajitsu has never known a proper family. Her dad's a deadbeat and her mom changes husbands like most people change socks. Kaijitsu isn't alone in her dysfunction - Taro and Natsu, the hottie stepbrothers she hasn't seen in seven years, are also refugees from negligent parents. Abandoned by everyone but each other, the three not-quite-siblings make one last attempt at building a family. It's hard enough getting along in a home with rampant hormones and no adults, but when an unexpected bundle of joy is dropped in their laps, can they learn to be parents, too?

Such a great book! it may not look like much on the outside, but the plot is great. if u like upbeat, funny, and romance stories, this book is one for you! its about a girl named Kajistu who has never had a normal family-her grandma died, her father is a deadbeat and her mother changes husbands like she changes socks! (btw, her mother is 28 and Kajitsu is in high school) Long ago, she was together with her half siblings(all different fathers) but are now separated. they meet again and her beloved Natsu (one of the stepbrothers)0, is cold to her now, most probably because of something she did in the past. Her mother comes home again and dumps a surprise right in her lap and goes off again!(u gotta read the book to see what the surprise is!) Most of all, Kajitsu is a really upbeat girl who always gets angry with her mother, whenever she is there. Who can blame her? anywayz, like i said, its really great and u wont regret reading it! ^_^
