    Excellent

This is incredible. An even deeper look into The Crow/Eric Draven. I really liked the additional sections and am so glad I got the Special Edition. I really wish this was available for the Nook.
Anyone who really understood the original version will find this really nice extra frosting on the cake.

    An Outstanding Read

Loved the book from beginning to end! The art is wonderful and I had to pause at every page just to take it in. The storyline is well thought out and written with the same amazing precision.
    A must read for all!

    The Crow

I spent forever looking for this book. I've read it at least a dozen times now and it means something new to me every time. I'm not sure that it's for everyone, but if you like graphic novels and literature, this is definitely worth a read. O'Barr adds textures and feelings in black and white that I haven't seen in much other work.

    It is a masterpiece

The illustrations were amazing. The storyline of The Crow flows extremely well. Eric Draven kicks but as The Crow.

If you haven't seen the movie, (or if you have), start here!

The story developes well by the second piece and the perspective was well done. I especially liked the last part (and if you read it you'll know why).

The book that started it all

I read the original version of this, and i was blown away. The artwork is unbelievable, very detailed. The story line is unflawable, and strikes the heart. It makes you think about what`s really important in life, what you need to realize what is around you, and not to take anything for granted. This book is one of the best i`ve ever read, i recommend it to anyone who has ever lost a love one, or likes fantastic artwork.

    Passion and gore, everyone's favorite

It's a horrible shame that this original comic book is out of print, leaving most people wallowing in the franchise without the raw simplicity of the original. The love in this story only serves as a foil to highlight the pain. Slightly too brutal to be Byronic, this story lacks some of the tormented sensitivity the movie demanded of the protagonist. Torment there is, but this story is about externalizing the agony and bitterness of loss, not internalizing it. Eric Draven inflicts his pain on others in a great gory cathartic frenzy. The plot is single pronged, without the slightest distraction (somewhat like the first Predator movie with the protagonist roles reversed and an urban setting). The story lacks all pretension and makes no excuses, reducing the revenge tragedy down to its pure, hideous, wonderful basic form.
