Barnes & Noble - Jon Wiederhorn
Tragically, Brandon Lee, the actor who played the main character in "The Crow," died during the film's creation, but like that dang Eveready Bunny, "The Crow" keeps on going and going. As with HEAVY METAL 2000 and SCREAM 3, THE CROW: SALVATION compiles new and remixed tracks by many of today's cutting-edge hard rock and alt-metal bands into a volume Time-Life would be proud to hawk on late-night television. The common factors in most songs are buzzsaw guitars, futuristic samples, and electro-beats galore. Even the killer Kid Rock track, "Warm Minter," is compressed and computerized to sound like Nine Inch Nails. Other highlights include actress Juliette Lewis's ...

Even the killer Kid Rock track, "Warm Minter," is compressed and computerized to sound like Nine Inch Nails. Other highlights include actress Juliette Lewis's wailing vocals on the Infidels' "Bad Brother," Static X's incendiary cover of Ministry's "Burning Inside" featuring Fear Factory's Burton C. Bell, Pitchshifter's digitized dissonance and vocal hooks in "Everything Sucks Again," and Hole's soulfully pained rendition of Dylan's "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue." Here's hoping for THE CROW IV.
All Music Guide - Heather Phares
The original soundtrack to The Crow: Salvation collects dark and aggressive electronica, hip-hop, alt-rock and alt-metal from artists like Sin, Days of the New, and the Infidels. Rob Zombie's "Portrait of a Living Dead Girl Naked Exorcism Mix," Kid Rock's "Warm Winter," Static X's "Burning Inside," Filter's "Best Things," and Pitchshifter's "Everything Sucks Again" set the album's in-your-face tone, while Hole's "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue," the Crystal Method's "Now Is the Time The Crystal Method Millennium Mix," and Tricky's "Antihistamine Forgotten by the World Mix" provide a more atmospheric variation on the soundtrack's themes of brooding and revenge. Tracks by New American Shame, the Flys, Danzig, and Monster Magnet round out this intense collection of film music.

Another Hit soundtrack from this great series!

A surprising mix of high energy music that will support the soon to be released Crow Flix! Hole's rendition of Dylan's song is just more proof of how talented that band is, one thing you can always count on from this movie franchise is a great soundtrack to go along with aan awesome picture!
