Moorer has a voice that always feels "warm' to me. This CD has an interesting mix of songs. The songs are heavy with introspective musings for example "when you wake up feeling old, and all your bones and blood have turned cold, all the bread in the kitchen's grown mold". Even some of the "upbeat" lyrics such as "Easy in the Summertime" are delivered with a slow tempo and reflective voice. If your are in the mood to listen and be reflective yourself this is a very good CD. If you want upbeat pacing and celebration songs steer clear. Remember one of the songs is "It's Gonna Feel Good When It Stops Hurting".Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
