After the surprisingly solid "Resurrection" released in 2000, expectations were high on its follow-up. Fans in general were not disappointed, because this album is just as strong as its predecessor. The thing was that Halford-followers wanted him to re-join with Priest, so during that circumstance this album got a bit overlooked, which is sad as metal can hardly be played better than this. Drummer Bobby Jarzombek is just amazing, and the whole band is delivering topnotch performances. Another thing is that whenever Rob Halford is on his own his lyrics are so much better than they are when he is working together with his old fellows. Anyway, things were bound to change and about a year after this release, Halford was back in Priest. But do take a close look at this album, because it deserved so much better. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
