Overview

Cruel and Usual Punishment is a wake up call to the Western world.

Nonie Darwish presents an insider's look at Sharia and examines how radical Muslim laws are destroying the Western world from within. Living under Sharia law for the first thirty years of her life,a virtual slave to Islamic law, Darwish never questioned or challenged her rights—or dared to even think about the validity of Sharia laws. She didn't try to examine what Sharia was, how it came about or why she followed it. "This is Allah's law," she was told, and she knew what awaited those who questioned Allah's law.

But she doesn't believe the lies anymore, and now she wants to share her experiences with the Western world. Cruel and Usual Punishment is an insider's look at how Muslims sacrifice their basic human rights to obey the archaic and brutal laws handed down to their prophet centuries ago.

Heed this warning: Sharia Law is attempting to infiltrate Western culture and destroy democracy.

the violent aspects of islamic law

"cruel and usuel punishment" is a very remarkable book and very hard to put down. the arthur nonie darwish has grown up in the middle east and has experienced islamic law first hand and knows what it is like as a woman to experience to be perecuted by it and its many forums of brutal goverments that enforce it. this best seller shows the reader the many types of moslem law in the koran and the many kinds of cruel and inhuman punishments that mainly women can experience for the smallest of offences such as going to work or speaking to a man other thean your husband. this writer and this book has given me great insight into many of the problems going on in the middle east. great gift idea for a friend or family member

    A warning to the West

With her deep understanding of Islam and Sharia law Noni Darwish explains the threat to our way of life by the spread of Islam, a system that is rapidly metasticizing throught the world. What is at stake are our God given rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The West does not understand the threat and this book unmasks the true nature of Islam so we can understand and act before it is too late. This book is a fact based look at a totalitarian social and political system that masquerades as religion.

    Cruel

This book was an eye opener for me. I've never heard about Sharia law. I found this book to be very political and at times one sided and definately disturbing. It was a good book and I recommend it but am reluctant to recommend it for a book club review because of the content.

Just an Awesome Women with the strength and courage of God behind her.

Noni Darwish is an awesome woman of strength and a breathtaking author. She gives horrific details and on hand experiences of what life truly is as a women exposed to Sharia Law. I could not put the book down and to think that so many individuals would consider that in America (Unlikely). Sharia Law is something that no one should be exposed to and she gives examples and details stories of what really happens inside the life of women of Islam. If you want the truth and nothing but the truth, read this book because she was once a Muslim and she is speaking from experience not word of mouth. Women have absolutely no will, no say, no mind, nothing of their own. It seems to me that a mere dog has more rights under Sharia Law then a woman. I pity those who have to live under such hash conditions with no way out and no one to speak to for help. I thank God for the Constitution and our liberty in the United States. We will not and can not allow such cruel and usual punishment enters into our country. For those who want to live under Sharia Law, the pleasant thing about America is the Freedom, you're free to leave America and practice your Sharia Law in a country that allows this because America will not tolerate it, nor amend our Constitution to include it.
