Published in 1902, this novel, set in old San Francisco Bay, follows the adventures of the Frisco Kid, a resourceful youth who makes his way in the world by means not always entirely legal. London based much of the novel on his own experiences growing up, known as a dangerous bay pirate.

This is a great book for pre and early teens. Jack London's style is very easy to read. Although some of the language is outdated (the story was written over 100 years ago!) the plot is still relevant today.

Sadly, the entire story is not here! It stops mid-sentence! loved the story, but would like the ending.
