While this is a great sampler of the AM radio early 70s, its too bad that Chicago radio wasn't documented on an earlier Cruisin' series like from 1967 or 1968. While the Chicago-based Ides of March has there bigest hit contained here (and Three Dog Night was immensely popular in the Chicago suburbs) its too bad that Chicago (the band) isn't here, and if the album documented an earlier year it could have included local bands The Buckinghams, New Colony Six, the Shadows of Knight, and soul music like Fontella Bass. But this is still worth it for the hits and the ambiance.
