Overview

In a collection of some of her most real, thought provoking, heart stirring, inspiring, unmasked and personal works performed over the last five years, TL Murphy is crying loud!

Fusing the cadence of spoken word with the Living Word, socials issues and life in general, Cry Loud! unapologetically provides no holds barred offerings like "Addicted" & "Questions: The Whos, The Whens, The Wheres, The Whats and The Whys Have It". She has poignantly penned God's love letter beckoning His people to return to their love for Him in "Come Back to Me" and powerfully releases the chains of those bound by the past with "Secrets", which is noticeably the most personal offering in this collection.

There is more power in the pen and the voice than there is in any other form of expressing one’s thoughts and feelings. With words, we are able to write the vision. With our voices, we are able to cry loud.

As a Christian, a human, a woman, and a member of the Black community, TL pulls together these two sources of power and uses them to confront many of the issues that wage war against the collective in all of these areas.

This book, this collection of words written and spoken, is not just words on paper or pieces that performed before crowds large and small, but this collection is the written expression of love for God and His people, love for humanity, love for womanhood and love for Black America. Cry Loud! is the life breath of a poet who love these parts that make up the whole of who we are enough to write with a bold pen, tospeak with an unbiased tongue and to Cry Loud with the faith that this cry will reach those that God has predestined it would.

Of this work TL Murphy has said, "I pray that you will read these words and be inspired to continue doing well, to turn around if you are on the wrong path, to open up and heal from whatever has been hurting you, to be strong in the midst of trial, to come to action and fight the good fight against those things that are sapping the life and spirit out of many of our communities, to become the best of what you were created to be, to render praise for the awesomeness of God and most of all to know that even if they sting these words were written for you with the finger of love."

I give you Cry Loud! A Collection of Words Written and Spoken.
