Awesome Feat by the Living King of the Mountains

The odds of succeeding at these incredible solo climbs are incredible. Most climbers have massive support teams with tons of equipment to help them summit the world's highest peaks. Messner has done an incredible job of surviving the countless hazards that face mountaineers. I wish I had the self-discipline to attain the drive and level of physical conditioning that Messner had when accomplishing his many mountaineering feats. I really enjoyed this book, even more than 'Annapurna' and 'Into Thin Air.'
