I found the book an excellent insight into the worlds energy future. The authors do an excellent job of separating the politics from the reality. There is no sermon about climate change, just the hard facts about our energy consumption and the reality of the finite amounts of inherited energy and when we'll run out of the different types. They also do a good job of detailing what we will need to do to move beyond those finite energy sources if we are to continue living our lifestyle while emerging economies catch up.
