As the saying roughly goes. An excellent book that transports you into it. A rare ability indeed!

I'm amazed at how good this book is! Some spelling errors (e.g., "caste" where author meant to say "cast," for example), but nothing that interfered with the storytelling. And believe me, the storytelling IS excellent. Well researched; finely detailed. A gem of a find! Enjoy!

I read, basically, the same story from the female point of view. Fascinating times.

I did not realize, this was a children's book when I downloaded it. As such, it is probably ok but for adults it is too simplistic.
