    Culinaria France is for any student of French Regional cooking and wines the serious tourist.

    Culinaria France, is a fine edition to any serious student of French Regional cooking. Region by region this book explores the wines the foods that are unique or notable to specific regions of France- more than that -it covers all the really wonderful items that each region is famous for. Along with fascinating information on french wines and champagne are recipes for for the regional french cook.
    The pictorial essay is just as amazing as information. The recipes are by-in-large very doable. A history of each region is offered; who they are , what influences their way of life and style cooking.
    I bought this book because I had a paper to write on french regional cooking. What a treasure trove of information it has turned out to be.
    I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to know more about what makes French cooking a source of fascination to so many people and why so many fall in love with the country.
    For anyone who is interested in French wine, French cooking and all other things France.

    Outstanding and accurate book on France's cuisines

    I love this beautiful cookbook! I have been staying in France for almost three years and would be going back to my own contry soon. I had been looking for a French cookbook which contains recipes for the delicious food I eat here. This is the best I have found. I also own 'France The Beautiful Cookbook'. Honestly, I like 'Culinaria France' more. C.F. don't just gives the recipes. They take you on a culinary tour. Shows you the food scenes you see in everyday France. After reading it, you will almost think you have been to France before! There are lots of information on food in France, and they are as accurate as can be. The recipes are truely French. Gain knowledge by the good reads on 'Genuine Pralines', 'The wines of Burgundy', 'Dijon mustard', Camembert', 'Glorious Geese'. Be tempted by the many recipes, and enchanted by the pictures. If you like authentic French food, loves not just recipes, but would like to expand your horizon on French food, you will like this book. This book is definitely worth collecting. An outstanding book that I love and treasure.
