I did a health program at work where we had to read this book as part of the requirement. I'm glad I did. I thought I was a fairly healthy person before I read the book, but I still learned a lot. What a great book! Easy and fun to read and packed with information about how to make the best choices for a healthy lifestyle. There is no way to read this book and not be a healthier person afterwards. Cuts through all the red tape and lets you know the simple things that you can do to improve your health, lose weight, and avoid the chronic diseases that plague many later in life. Anyone interested in improving their health and learning the correct way to do it should read this book. Everything in here is research based (there's hundreds of footnotes with study after study) but it is very easy to read and understand. Finally a book that gets to the heart of good health in a light-hearted but scientifically supported way! This book is a clear beacon of simple and understandable truth in a sea of commercially motivated hype.
