CUPID LENDS A HAND celebrates the romance of Valentine’s Day with two spanking stories that both feature a cameo from Cupid. (For readers over 18, please.)

In THE BEST VALENTINE’S PRESENT, Mariah Abbott gets a mysterious box with a card from Cupid saying she is deserving of love. Inside is a man, a man who understands Mariah is also deserving of the hot, erotic—and sometimes disciplinary—spankings she’s been fantasizing about for years. This story has spanking with romance and some sex.

In THE WORST—AND BEST—VALENTINE’S DINNER, another woman gets the spanking she deserves with an assist from Cupid, who advises her long-suffering boyfriend on the merits of over-the-knee discipline in a relationship. This story has spanking without sex (but within a romantic relationship.)

The two stories combined are approximately 18,500 words long

“I’m afraid I’m going to have to punish you, Mariah.”
“What?” The word came out in a squeak.
“You heard me. Now go to your room and remove your skirt, then stand and face the wall. I’ll be in shortly to deal with you.”
“D-deal with me?” Mariah stammered, feeling faint, heart pounding wildly. “What is that supposed to mean?”
The fear, fear with undercurrents of raw excitement, told him she knew exactly what that was supposed to mean. “It means, my sweet, that when I’m ready I’ll come to your bedroom and administer the spanking your behavior has earned you.” Speaking the word “spanking” sent another hot jolt through him. If she looked, she’d be able to see his cock straining against his trousers. But she seemed stunned by his order. “Go now, or you’ll earn yourself some extra time over my knee,” he commanded.
Mariah sucked in her breath and scurried away. When she’d safely reached her bedroom she shut the door and leaned against it, panting as if she’d spent thirty minutes on her elliptical. She reached behind her back and pressed the button that locked the door.
“Bad idea,” she heard Anthony say. Mariah started. She hadn’t realized he was so close to the door. “I know you don’t want me to take my paddle to your bottom when it’s already red and throbbing from the spanking you’ve already been promised. And that’s exactly what will happen if your door is locked when I’m ready to discipline you.” She thought she heard him walk away. She realized her hand was still wrapped around the doorknob. All it would take was one flick of her thumb to unlock the door. If she did, that meant she was accepting…it. The spanking.
Just thinking the word made her stomach flip over. She could stop this. She could order him back in the container, put it back on the porch. She was sure it would be gone the next morning. He’d be gone.
Gone forever.
She pressed her thumb against the button, releasing the lock. Knees shaking, she walked over to the nearest wall and turned to face it. Tension tightened her body. Admit it, a little voice whispered in the recesses of her mind. You’ve been excited by this forever, even watching Ricky take Lucy over his knee in those old reruns you watched after school. Or that old movie where John Wayne spanked Maureen O’Hara. She watched that every time it came on, and that spanking scene had been one of the clips she’d had to watch for the computer questionnaire.
But this wasn’t like watching TV. This was real. And she was scared. Not just scared. There was an electric current running through her that wasn’t all fear. Still, she gave a yelp when she heard the door swing open. She stepped closer to the wall, pressing her face against it. She couldn’t look at him. Not when she knew what was going to happen.
“I believe I told you to remove your skirt,” Anthony commented, his voice edged with steel.
“I’m sorry. I…I forgot,” she confessed.
“In ten minutes?” he asked.
“I just… Yes. I…I—“
She felt his hand, warm and firm, circle around her wrist. “I’ll take care of it,” he told her, then he led her over to the bed.
