A fun Valentine's Day book which tests the newly formed bonds between Alex and Chloe. This was a pleasant non-murder mystery.

Cute but short.

Alex has asked Chloe, just before the annual Sweethearts Ball, to marry him...and then informed her his parents were coming to visit. That is in itself enough to warrant problems, but then an arsonist strikes the decorations of the dance. Chloe must find out who is sabotaging the party and threatening the Queen of the Ball.
Chloe is a unique heroine and wonderful detective, a fresh perspective on the traditional cozy. The reads are quick and fun and I find that they are on my 'keep' file of e-books.

Overview
It's Chloe's first Valentine's Day with Alex and someone is out to sabotage the Sweethearts Ball. Her romance may also be a casualty with Alex's parents and their cats in town for a visit and not pleased with their son's engagement.
