Editorial Reviews

3 Stars from Doody
Clifford F. Shipley
This new book covers the full range of theriogenology (anatomy, physiology, therapy, surgery, etc.) for the common large animal domestic species. The purpose is to provide practitioners with an up-to-date reference and provide a source of information for veterinary students. These are worthy objectives as technology and treatments change, and the book meets these stated goals. Students, residents, practicing veterinarians, and theriogenologists will find this book to be a valuable resource. The editor and contributors are all recognized experts in their fields. The quality and pertinence of the illustrations are just about right. Some color panels might make the book even more palatable. The references are current and pertinent. The table of contents and index are easy to use. The book is a handsome addition to any veterinary library. I loved this book and think that anyone with an interest in large animal theriogenology will want to have it on his or her shelf for the day-to-day questions that arise in practice or as a reference book.
