Meet the Author

Ron and Janet Benrey have been a writing team for nearly two decades. They’ve co-written nine romantic suspense novels, beginning with “A Trifle to Die For.” They occasionally write fiction independently.
Despite their authorial togetherness, Ron and Janet have dissimilar backgrounds:
Janet has been a literary agent, the editorial director of a small press, an executive recruiter, and a book publicist. Janet earned her degree in Communication (Magna cum Laude) from the University of Pittsburgh.
Ron has been a writer forever—initially on magazines (his first real job was Electronics Editor at Popular Science Magazine), then in corporations (he wrote speeches for senior executives), and then as a novelist. Over the years, Ron has authored ten non-fiction books. His latest is “Know Your Rights: A Survival Guide for Non-Lawyers.” Ron holds degrees in electrical engineering, management, and law.
Ron and Janet live in North Carolina. When they aren’t writing, you’ll probably find them aboard their sailboat, in the Neuse River.

A Cozy Mystery with Plenty of Action

A lawsuit filed against her for consultant malpractice, the murder of a former client and her new husband insisting they buy a house she hates are just the beginning of Pippa's problems. Pippa Hunnechurch is a delightful character readers will love getting to know. Her English sense of humor, her love of food and her determination to see a project through even in the face of danger make her instantly endearing and the fact that she is a growing character who learns from her mistakes will make readers want to read the whole series.

To avoid confusion between the classic print books and the all-new ebooks, here's the list in series order:
Was: Little White Lies - Now: A Trifle to Die For (1)
Was: The Second Mile - Now: Bauble and Squeak (2)
Was: Humble Pie - Now: The Curry Killing (3)
