Overview

Gavin has been entombed in stone for hundreds of years, waiting for the right person to break the curse that put him there. After the voice of an unknown woman speaks the special words to free him, he finds himself in a time that is no longer his own. Though this woman pleasures him in every imaginable way, he's still racked with anguish for all he's lost. Duty, honor and his deep-seated need for revenge consume him.

Ericka thought flying to Scotland was the toughest feat of her life. That was until she met a ghost and freed a seventeenth-century Scottish hunk from stone. Ghosts aren't real and curses don't exist. Hot sex with Gavin fuels her imagination, but he can't possibly her soul mate, or can he.

The evil behind the curse lingers. Gavin is stone by day, man by night. Together they fight, determined to overcome the source behind the curse. But if they fail, their love could be lost for eternity.

Awesome plot and a good basis for the series. Only problem ( if you consider it one) is that it keep stopping for the love scenes. Looking forward to the rest of the series

Good book, recommend it to the mature readers due to alot of sexual content. Good plot, interesting characters, and TONS of raging hormones LOL.

My own personal opinion was that ALL the sex seemed to act as filler for an otherwise great plot. The storyline was good. The characters were there, but I could have done without the sex. I ended up skimming 70% of the book to get past the sex. It was a huge disappointment. I am aggrivated that I purchased the 2nd and 3rd books. I hope they're isn't a repete.........

Even though the story was explicit, the story line kept me on edge on how it would end. It is a story worth reading. I loved it

Great story with suspense and paranormal situations. Itimacy scenes were excellent and detailed. I love a manly man even if Erika was strong herself. The Aunt was quite sharp. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.

This was a cute book..good story line and just enough steamy sex to keep it moving. Can't wait to read the next in the series!

Stone by day, man by night. Hmmm. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.

It could have been a great book without the erotica. The storyline was good but the language used to describe certain sexual innuendos was absolutely bad. I would not recommend this book!

has mystery, action & sex (and the sex is well written, not too smutty). I enjoyed this story. I'm sure that you'll enjoy it to.

After the first few pages I was hooked. Hot Scots, magic and curses, mischievous ghosts, and bad guys up to no good...Just a great paranormal romance. If you're uncomfortable with hot sex scenes though, this might not be the book for you...

The book would have been better if the writer concentrated more on the storyline and less on the sexual ascept. I like the sexual ascept as much as anybody, but this was way too much. If they weren't having sex, they were thinking about it through the whole book. I thought it distracted from a good story. Not sure if I will read anymore in the series.

I was really impressed with this story!! I cant wait until the next one. I got it on the Free Fridays so that made it even better!! I read erotica and didn't expect much (honestly) but this has a great character build up. It does have lots of sexy scenes so there is your warning!

Tara Nina has given us an original and fun story. Not a lot of gargoyle stories out there. You get a curse and a nasty evil cult, a hunky Scotsman, and the promise of more in the series because he has 6 (!) brothers. What could be more fun? I downgraded one star for writing style, primarily picky stuff but irritating and detracts from the story. I'm no dialect expert, but there seemed to be a ton of "thys" that would have been appropriate in a book on puritans, not so much Scots. A note to other reviewers: there are several very low ratings at the top of the reviews, generally where the "most helpful" reviews should be. The reviewers knocked the book because of sequel content. This publisher only prints erotica, and the book description is pretty clear on this,so it shouldn't have been too surprising. If you're going to trash a book, do it because it's badly written (not the case here), not because it isn't what you wanted. It's wrong to go to the modern art section of an art museum and condemn all the paintings because the eyes are in the wrong place, and you don't go to the animal shelter to adopt a cat and condemn all the dogs to be euthanized because they don't purr nicely.

The main character erika got on my nerves, acting like you have to have proof for everything even when you see the impossible with your own eyes? she makes up stupid excuses to not believe, so she came off dumb to me and like she was nothing but a bore of a person. Then the whole book got boring..couldnt even find the need to finish it..good thing it was free.

Like the story plot, characters, the sex seem to be excessive, wasn't necessary. I skipped over most of it. Three stars for me. I purchased the rest to see if the brothers all make it out. I'm confused on the overview for the "Cursed of the Black Widow", it has the same one as "The Curse of the Gargoyle", is it a mistake? Guess I'll find out when I read it.
