My daughter is perfectly capable of reading this series on her own, but they are so funny I love to read them aloud to her....a great way to spend time together. The characters are consistent throughout the series, as is the humor. In this book, Merle the cat is the star. A haunted litter box? I can't think of a better way to get your "reluctant" reader to turn into a giggling bookworm. Keep 'em coming, Mr. Scroggs!
