ANGEL VS. SPIKE
Sulking around the Slayer in Sunnydale, the vampire Spike has often run into demons intent on punishing him for throwing in with the White Hats. But when there are hints of a more organized campaign dedicated to vanquishing the vampire with a chip in his head, Spike sets off on the trail of whoever's put a hit out on him.
Meanwhile, in the City of Angels, the vampire with a soul finds that the search for a mystical object is tied to his days as the vicious Angelus. Then Spike — his former partner in carnage — arrives in L.A. Each nursing a grudge, and with the specter of Buffy in both of their (cold, dead) hearts, the two vampires reluctantly work together...until their torturous past catches up with them!

If you love Spike and Angel you'll love this book ! It takes place after Riley catches Buffy with Spike in his crept ! It has plenty of Spike Humor and lots of action both physical ! :) Like most Buffy and Angel novels they do there flash backs, in which you hear of Dru and Darla ! and the best part Angel and Spike have to work together !

This book makes you feel like your in spike's head. The charactors all seem real. Some buffy books make them seem fake, like in Apocolyptic memories, Spike seemed so unlike spike to whiney even for season 7. This book on the other hand just sucks you in and makes for an exciting ride no matter your age. It is definantly recomended by me.

Angel got a call from Giles to look in on a shipment and he did and someone tried to take it and did. They found out that the demons took what is called a Founding Stones. It ends up that some Gypies come from there world into ours and they have to fight for the other 6 that they don't have. It ends up that spike is up to his ears in debt so he joins a robbery and get caught because his past finally cought up with him. A women that he loved long ago and he watched get killed haunted the stone that he and the other three demons were trying to get. He ends up and kills his partners and finds out that Angel got to the buyer and freaks out. In the end Spike ends up and saves Connor and puts all of the stones together and saves everyone from a mass explosion.

You are sooo gonna love this book. It's perfect for anyone who loves romance/action book!!!!!!!!Spike and Angel go through their own perspective of their encounters with Buffy. It's really cool how these two tough vamps are forced to work together when they're clearly immortal enemies!!

I'm a huge Spike fan and I was enormously pleased in how Mel Odom wrote Spike. He really gets the character and highlights vulnerabilities that have always made him more than just the Big Bad.

This book was great! It really gives you an idea of Angel's and Spike's relationship. And how they are both still mourning over losing Buffy. Some parts were just a little sad. And I loved the flash back parts. They gave you and idea of Angel's and Spike's past, and what they went through.

I was excited about this book. I thought a Angel/Spike crossover would be great, but unfortunately it wasn't. The characters themselves are good as always and the history is interesting, but they are only together for about the last quarter of the book, if that. It might as well be two different books with a connecting subject until almost the end. Angel and Spike together should have been far better than this.

I found this to be the most adult oriented book relating to the Buffy and Angel stories that I have read so far. Even though it is not about Buffy it has so many references to her that you feel she is a central character. The relationship between Spike and Angel is revealed in more detail and gives you a lot more insight into the reason they have this love hate thing going. If you are a fan of either Spike or Angel this is a great book.
