Best for Professionals, but good general info as well

Most of this book will not be very helpful unless you have a clear understanding of MRP explosions. Which I do not....sure the planner/scheduler would have a better understanding.

However this book does offer some good basic insight as well and therefore would recommend for novices as well.

I think the author is good and highly intelligent, however to try and put down on paper something as complex as marrying MRP and Kanbans is not very easily would be best if there was a DVD with him explaining it and giving live examples.

    Highly Recommended

This is a real 'How To' design and implement kanban book. The design and implementation steps are well written and goes well beyond today's typical kanban book.
