    I Also Recommend:

    Newcomers always have it rough

I enjoyed returning to Morse Point, MA and another fun cozy mystery with Brenna Miller and her friends. This time, a newcomer, Tara Montgomery, is engaged to the local mechanic when his best friend turns up murdered right in Tara's presence. The kicker is that Tara has no memory of what happened or how they got there. Brenna befriends Tara and sets out to find any other suspects before Tara is railroaded into jail. I enjoyed the secondary characters very much, from best friend Tenley, landlord Nate, and trying to go legit mobster Dom. Lawrence populates this small town with some great folks.

    decoupage, small town mystery

Interesting small town characters. Gossip, food, death. This is all here for a very interesting who-done-it mystery. Just when you think you have the culpiit figured out another mystery person comes on the scene. A little crime in a small town, is this really how small towns are? The characters really come to life and what cool personalities and individual quirks come to life. It seems like I could walk into this town and say hi, could I sign up for call tonight. I have never done decoupage but after reading this book I want to try it. There are some good tips about projects and parties.
    Enjoyable read.

Cut to the Corpse combines the two things I love best - Reading and Crafting!

Lucy Lawrence is a new author I found while browsing one afternoon at Barnes and Noble. I'm a Fan of light reading - but love a mystery. Characters were well developed and the plot had some interesting twists - can't spoil the ending - but it is worth the time to read this one!
