Meet the Author

Val Pierce was taught to knit when she was just five years old and progressed from making doll clothes and scarves to knitting garments for friends and family. Later she checked patterns for knitwear designers and yarn companies, before progressing to become a designer-maker. Val began designing regularly for several magazines and had her first book published in 2010. Since then she has written many more knitting and crochet books, including Cutest Ever Baby Knits. Val particularly loves designing for children and babies. She lives and works in Shropshire, England.
