About the Author

Carl King is a writer, director, and animator living in The Imaginary City of Los Angeles. Under the names Sir Millard Mulch and Dr. Zoltan Øbelisk, he has done music career things with Marco Minnemann, Virgil Donati, Nick D’Virgilio, Morgan Agren, Paul Mazurkiewics, Trey Spruance of Mr. Bungle, Steve Vai’s Favored Nations, Eman Laerton, Dave Meros, Nils Frykdahl, Lale Larson, Larry Boothroyd, Will Maier, and Devin Townsend. His solo records have been reviewed in Modern Drummer, DRUM!, Kerrang, and Decibel Magazine. He’s taking a long and indefinite break from music, and has no plans to play again.
