    Intriguing

The fifth book in the cyber chronicles series is where saber (the independent cyber) meets his first overlord. In this series, the Overlords possess incredible power in the form of giant interstellar planetary sized ships capable of folding space and being anywhere within minutes. They are not so much intergalatic police as they are peacekeepers who stop problems on a planetary scale. Saber's involvement with the one known as the spider overlord comes by chance meeting due to his attempts to escape cybercorps grasp on him, so that he can discover his humanity. Overlords do not normally get involved in affairs pertaining to single persons or beings, however Sabre is the first known free cyber to have ever existed (which is nothing but pure luck as to how it happened) and because of this, he is hunted for experimentation and worse by the very ones who created him who only see him as a tool.

I started out with the free (nook book) version of Book 1 and co

I started out with the free (nook book) version of Book 1 and couldn't put it down. That was 2-1/2 weeks ago. Since then, I've purchased and read books 2,3 and 4. I'm purchasing book 5 in a few minutes and I'm sure I'll be back in a few days for book 6. If you're a sci-fi lover, you'll love the Cyber Chronicles. My hat goes off to the awesome author T.C. Southwell.
