Best-Made Supplement yet

After getting the Sword & Fist kitbook, I was afraid it would set the trend for all secondary material in its presentation. I was wrong. This is a well-made book, with the good slick paper and nicely done full-color illustrations a'la the Monster Manual, as is only appropriate. It follows the same style of the Monster Manual, which I found concise and well-written, and reprints the introductory information on special abilities and creature advancement as per the MM. The creatures themselves are interesting, with many new foes representing the changing face of the Realms after the Time of Troubles, such as the Beasts of Malar, alongside classic Realms enemies such as the Darkenbeast and the Fang Dragon. Of particular help is the 'in the Realms' section under each entry, many of which contain interesting tidbits hinting at greater developments in the Realms(hopefully to be elaborated upon in the upcoming Campaign book)and adventure seeds. About my only complaint with the book was the absence of information on Bone Dragons, or Dracoliches, a classic Realms enemy whom I hope to see detailed in the Campaign book.

    Its not released yet?

Allow me to go to dictionary.com, they say that a Compendium is:
1. A short, complete summary; an abstract.
and
2. A list or collection of various items.
So what I am thinking is that it is going to be great, if it is anything like the monster manaul it will be great.
Although I am just a newbie DM(Dungeon Master for those of you who don't know) and I don't have the Monster manual but I am going to get it and if this book is half as good as the Monster manual then it will be great.
