Meet the Author

Professor Richard Holmes is author of The Napoleonic Wars Experience (Andre Deutsch), as well as Tommy: The British Solider on the Western FrontWellington: The Iron Duke, and Red Coat (all HarperCollins). He was General Editor of the Oxford Companion to Military History and presented several documentary series for the BBC, which were also seen in the US.
