"In his first feature-length biography, Carlo DeVito has turned in a strong effort, relating the story of the enigmatic monarch of the far-flung empire known as Team Lukas, which dominated American racing of the 1980s and '90s."—Thoroughbred Times

The telling of D. Wayne Lukas' life story is an interesting read, but the book could've used a good editor. There are numerous typos and mistakes of fact. I'm kind of surprised that a book could make it to print without being thoroughly proofed and if this one was, they need to get a new proofreader!
